Our trees are not blocking anyone's ocean view. They are in fact, OUR view. They have been here longer than anyone on the board of directors, longer than the rule that unrealistically limits their height to rooftop level, and FAR longer than the present management company that has ordered their destruction. They have been trimmed annually.
At least forty other homes in Bodega Harbour have trees above their rooftop, and they enhance our neighborhood. And yet none of these other homeowners are under attack by the BHHA management company — we have been singled out, and forced to cut down our beautiful trees.
Our only remaining hope to save the lives of these trees is if the community expresses opposition to their destruction. Please contact the Bodega Harbour Homeowners Association board of directors, and/or manager Bob Harchut, and tell them you don't want to see these trees at the top of Heron Drive ruthlessly and needlessly destroyed.
